Bristol Lau Gar fighters ROS WILSON and DYLAN GRISTWOOD will be competing on a prestigious Full Contact Kickboxing Show on Saturday 25th July. It would be great if anyone wanted to come along to show their support and keep Bristol’s reputation as the loudest supporters around going! The Show will be taking place in a venue in Oxford, starting at 6.30pm. Tickets are £17 in advance (£22 on door). Please let us know if you would like to attend by 12th July. Not only is it a great opportunity to support your team mates it is also a good chance to watch competitive kickboxing and get an idea of the different styles and abilities involved.

A Big WELL DONE! To Jenny who recently competed in Judgement Day in Sheffield. She battled against some tough international and british competitors to bring home a very respectable Silver and Bronze medal.  Well done to Ken who also competed in the tournament.

A big WELL DONE to everyone who came on the famous Bristol Lau Gar summer training camp at Devon Cliffs in Exmouth last weekend. This year the group was divided into two teams - Team SNAKE and Team DRAGON. after a 3 day fierce battle over many exciting and tiring challenges including early morning hill runs, burpees a plenty and beach madness it was a close contest! But in the end the Snakes one by a few points to take the first exmouth camp team challenge crown! well done to all and we look forward to seeing new and returning faces at winter camp…. watch this space!!

30 Rounds of Sparring

We will be doing a 30 round sparring session at the PowersportsStudio on the above date. Each round will last 3.00 minutes with a 30 second break in between. Our Little Dragons Kickboxing class runs on Wednesdays 4-4.45pm. It is for children aged 4 - 7 of all levels of ability and experience. The class aims to help children learn coordination, balance and discipline through martial arts. The class also encourages children to take part in physical activity as well as work with other children to enjoy and achieve.
